Essential Travel Information
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey, Sunrise Mystery Tours provides comprehensive information through a series of key communications. The “Get Ready” email is sent upon registration, containing your confirmation and initial tour details. About two months before departure, you’ll receive the “Get Set” email, followed by the “Go” trip documentation mailing via USPS 3-4 weeks before your departure. This package includes your daily itinerary, luggage tags, and final departure information.
Travel protection is optional but highly recommended and can be purchased until the day before departure. Sunrise Tours offers plans through battlefacewith information sent along with your “Get Ready” email or available on their website.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Unless otherwise noted, your Sunrise Tour includes a professional tour director, meals as indicated, local guides with gratuity included, deluxe motorcoach transportation with an onboard restroom, admission to activities and events, airfare from designated airports, and transportation to/from designated airports from convenient local pickup points. Luggage handling at hotels is also provided when available.
Tipping is a personal and discretionary interaction. A typical gratuity for your tour director and motorcoach driver may be $6-10 per person per day. Sunrise Shuttle drivers appreciate gratuities of around $5 per person for excellent service. Our staff will not solicit gratuities or pass out envelopes.
Refreshments are offered on most motorcoach travel days, and it’s recommended to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated. If fewer than four people request a pickup point, you may be asked to choose another location to join your tour.
Customizing Your Journey
If you’d like to join a tour from a city not listed as a departure point, Sunrise Tours is happy to accommodate. Discuss arrangements with their friendly reservation team. From a non-listed departure city, typical airfare will be $100 higher for domestic tours and $200 for international tours.
If you have a TSA PreCheck or Airline Rewards number, you must provide these to the reservations team at least 60 days before departure to ensure they are applied. Preferred seating may not be available on group air, and your tour fare includes an economy seat. Seat upgrades may be available at an additional cost.
To ensure comfort, Sunrise Tours limits motorcoaches to 80% capacity, or 44 passengers on a coach built for 55. Your tour director will rotate seats on the motorcoach each day, and a single fare does not guarantee two seats.
