The picturesque state of Uttarakhand is set to experience a significant boost in tourism and connectivity with the introduction of a new bi-weekly express train service between Ramnagar and Dehradun. The train service, a result of persistent efforts by Garhwal MP Anil Baluni and approved by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays departing Ramnagar at 5:50 a.m. and arriving in Dehradun at 12:40 p.m. The return journey will commence from Dehradun at 3:55 p.m., reaching Ramnagar by 11:30 p.m.
The Route and Its Significance
The 15310/15309 Ramnagar-Dehradun Express will halt at key stations including KashipurRoshanpurPipalsanaMoradabadNajibabad and Haridwar. This route is strategically important as it connects the gateway to the Jim Corbett National Park in Ramnagar with the state capital, Dehradun, a hub of commercial activity.
Passengers from cities like NainitalUdham Singh NagarHaridwarMoradabad and Bijnor will benefit from this service, which is expected to give a significant boost to tourismpilgrimageeducation and trade.

Passengers can conveniently travel to Dehradun for official work, stop at the pilgrimage city of Haridwar, complete their tasks, and return on the same day.
