Parry Point Skatepark and proximity chat debut in season 5

The October 13 patch rolls out a fresh street‑style skatepark, a multi‑week narrative, voice‑chat testing and several quality‑of‑life improvements for skate enthusiasts.

Parry Point Skatepark and proximity chat debut in season 5

The skate community is set to feel a noticeable shift on October 13, 2026, as patch 0.32.5 lands. This mid-season drop for Season 5 introduces a brand-new street-style map, extends the ongoing S.U.M.R. Camp storyline, and pilots a limited proximity voice chat system. In addition, the developers have refined trick mechanics, overhauled the notoriously finicky “No Comply” feature, and refreshed the in-game environment with greener foliage throughout San Van. All these changes aim to keep the skate-boarding experience fresh and immersive as the season rolls forward.

Parry Point Skatepark opens in Hedgemont

Located just above the Hedgemont seawall, the Parry Point Skatepark is the latest addition to the city’s lineup of street-focused arenas. Designed after famous real-world spots, the park packs a variety of hubbas, rails, ledges and gap lines that cater to both seasoned shredders and content creators looking for cinematic angles. Players can now drop a Spot Battle, start a Skate Jam, or simply capture a series of trick combos while the ocean breeze rolls in from the shore. The map’s layout encourages fluid lines and offers multiple viewing points, making it an ideal backdrop for YouTube highlights or casual hangouts.

“Have You Seen Him?” story continues at S.U.M.R. Camp

The six-week narrative arc titled “Have You Seen Him?” reaches its climax this month. Players team up with Izzy to trace the disappearance of City Councilor Slappy across three new missions released weekly from September 8 through November 3. Access to these missions requires S.U.M.R. Camp, which entered General Access on October 6, 2026. Those without a skate.Premium Pass can still join using a 24-hour Day Pass for 500 Rip Chips, while Premium members enjoy unlimited entry. The storyline will retire after Season 5, so participants are urged to complete all six weeks before the event ends.

Proximity voice chat test lands on Isle of Grom

Starting October 21, 2026, the Isle of Grom map will host a closed-beta of the new Proximity Voice Chat system. This feature captures real-time, position-dependent audio, allowing players to hear teammates louder when they’re nearby and softer as distance increases. The engine applies dynamic spatial rendering, environmental occlusion and a smart prioritization algorithm that favours party members over strangers. Initially, only users who have cleared Hedgemont Level 2 can enable the chat, helping to curb abuse from throwaway accounts. A text-to-speech option is slated for the full release in patch 0.33, and quick-toggle mic controls have been added to the Comms wheel for instant muting.

Day passes, access changes and QoL improvements

From October 13 to December 1, players without a Premium Pass may purchase 24-hour Day Passes for the three major locations: S.U.M.R. Camp (500 Rip Chips), Isle of Grom (500 Rip Chips, though the island will be closed from October 13-20 for event preparation), and The Stadium (250 Rip Chips). Premium members retain unlimited entry across all zones. Alongside the new content, the patch brings a series of quality-of-life tweaks: refined trick detection, a complete rebuild of the “No Comply” mechanic for smoother execution, and assorted bug fixes catalogued in the patch notes released on October 12. These enhancements collectively aim to tighten gameplay flow and reduce friction for both casual riders and competitive crews.

32.5 update packs a substantial amount of fresh material for skate fans, from the visually striking Parry Point Skatepark to the narrative depth of the “Have You Seen Him?” questline, and the experimental proximity chat that could reshape social interaction in-game. With day passes offering flexible access and a host of QoL refinements, the developers appear committed to keeping the community engaged throughout the remainder of Season 5.
