Marrakech shines: the week’s most dependable weather

Marrakech leads this week with warm, mostly dry weather; compare Barcelona, Cape Town and wetter Maui for sightseeing or beach plans.

Marrakech shines: the week's most dependable weather

Marrakech is the clear standout this week: expect comfortable warmth with an average high of 26.1°C and a reassuring 5/7 fine days, mostly partly cloudy and only 15.8 mm of rain. That combination makes long walking days across the medina and nearby day hikes realistic without packing for downpours.

For seaside or coastal warmth, Cancún and Cape Town offer different takes. Cancún is hotter at an average high of 29.6°C and a humid low of 23.8°C, but the week only has 3/7 fine days and 16.6 mm of rain, so plan for intermittent showers between beach windows. Cape Town, with an average high of 25.1°C and 4/7 fine days, is mostly sunny and dry enough for outdoor routes and coastal drives; its 7.2 mm rainfall suggests showers will be limited rather than persistent.

Barcelona is a reliable city-walking option this week: an average high of 19.9°C and 5/7 fine days with only 4 mm of rain—ideal for architecture tours and parks without waterproofs dominating your pack. By contrast, Maui has an average high of 22.9°C but only 2/7 fine days and a higher total rainfall of 35.3 mm, so schedule outdoor plans flexibly there.
