One of the most unique aspects of London’s pub culture is the tradition of standing outside with your drink. The weather was beautiful while we were there, and multiple times we thought people were lined up for an event only to realize they were just outside enjoying a beer with friends. You walk in, order your drink, and then head outside. It felt so simple and communal.
After dinner, we wandered over to a pub called Sherlock Holmes near our hotel and stood outside like the locals to have a drink. By 9 pm we had walked thousands and thousands of steps and I was three drinks deep. We headed back to the hotel and absolutely crashed.

London’s cultural scene is thriving, with numerous events and festivals taking place throughout the year.
