Your journey begins
Your adventure begins at Key West International Airport (EYW) in the early morning. After a swift check-in at 7:15 AM, you will be set to board your flight, departing at 8:00 AM. Within an hour, you will arrive at José Martí International Airport (HAV) in Havana, where a welcoming guide and driver will greet you.
Explore Hemingway’s legacy
At 9:30 AM, your first destination will be Finca Vigía, the former home of Ernest Hemingway. This historic house now operates as a museum, offering insights into the author’s life and work. Visitors can also admire his cherished boat, the Pilar, which has ties to Key West.
After this enlightening visit, you will head to the quaint fishing village of Cojimar, a place where Hemingway often set out on his fishing excursions. This picturesque spot provides a glimpse into the life of the renowned writer and the rich culture he celebrated.
Culinary delights and cultural landmarks
At noon, visitors can enjoy a delightful lunch at a local paladar, a privately-owned restaurant that embodies the essence of Cuban cuisine. Following lunch, the exploration continues with a visit to several literary landmarks in Old Havana, which played a significant role in the life of Ernest Hemingway.

At 4:00 PM, participants will regroup at Parque Central for the return journey to the airport. The flight departs Havana at 5:00 PM, arriving in Key West by 6:00 PM. This concludes a day filled with unforgettable experiences.
